Outside Again!

My mom let me stay in all day Saturday while she was gone - that damn wind was really blowing again. Anyway, when she finally got home at 11:30 p.m. I decided I would go out for a little fresh air --- well, she went to bed and left me outside all night ---- AGAIN!!!! I was not amused! It was pretty cold out there, but I am a big boy so I toughed it out. When mom came home from church we took a nap together and I finally got warm.

My teeth are chattering.... it is so cold! My mom let me stay in all day Thursday (it was really windy and I hate the wind) but when she got home from work at 10:00 p.m. I decided I needed to go out for awhile. Well, she went to bed and left me out there! She came looking for me at 3:30 a.m. - it was so cold! To get her back, I climbed in the bed and put my cold paws on her to get warm. Beefy

Normal????

Just when I thought things were getting back to normal at my house - last night - my aunt marsha came over -- this worries me. The big green bags are still put away in the basement - so I hope my mom is not taking another trip.

Also, there are men with big noisy trucks working in my backyard!!!! Don't they know that is my playground? They come really early in the morning and make lots of noise. I am afraid to go outside to play because the trucks might run over me! And because they make so much noise and are tearing up our grass - my cow friends have not been coming over to my house to play with me. I miss my cows - the baby ones are growing up and will be too old to play with me soon. Beefy

Well, the green bags have been emptied and put away and I still haven't gotten anything but a belly rubbing. I thought my mom would bring me a prize - but I guess not. Beefy

Mom's Back.....

I really missed her! I got some good head scratching and belly rubs when she came in. Maybe I can ride this guilt for a few days. She even said she was going to stay home with me tomorrow to play. I knew she would come back for me. My aunt marsha tried real hard to be my friend, but I still missed my mom. Next time the big green bags come up from the basement, I think I will try to hide in them so I can go with her.

It's Official....

the big green bags came up from the basement tonight -- my mom is taking a trip! She was putting her clothes and stuff in the bags - I haven't figured out where she is going - but I don't think I get to go. I think she might be going to stay for gone for awhile, not like when she went over to grandma's house to spend the night - she is taking more stuff - she is even taking dress up clothes.

Before she got home tonight my Aunt Marsha left a message for me on the answering machine (I always call screen her) - she said I had better be nice to her because she was going to be kitty sitting me for a few days and I was going to want food and water. I know she just wants to be my friend - but I am not so sure about how that works. I guess I will just have to let her think she is in charge while my mom is gone.

I am not sure what is going on, but my mom has been talking on the phone a lot lately and making plans for next week. I think she is going somewhere - and I don't get to go. She bought me a big bag of food and some new snacks - I think it is a trick. This time I won't fall for it! I will know when the big green bags come up from the basement that she is leaving me. I better start working on my plan - will I hide under the bed? what about behind the couch? maybe I want to be outside? I need to find out how long she is going to be gone -- and who is going to be kitty sitting me this time.

playing outside. Sorry I haven't been posting much lately, I have been too busy playing outside all day. I love this weather! I think my mom's feelings are hurt, because I only want to come in to eat a snack and get my head scratched a little and then I ask to go back outside. (I think she misses me) I heard her to tell my aunt marsha on the phone that I "sleep like a rock" at night when I have been playing outside all day. I sure didn't want to get up this morning - I was all snuggled in with mom when that stupid alarm clock started making noise. I hate Monday!

Finally -- cool weather!

I love this weather! It is so cool -- hahaha. Finally all this fur I have is doing some good. Maybe I should try not to loose so much on the bed and the couch to get ready for winter. That would make my mom happy.

Uh oh! Mommy is sick now!

My mom is sick today. I have been helping make her feel better with my cat therapy. She calls me her little vibrating heat pack. I like it when she stays home with me all day. We took a nap together and I got lots of ear scratching.

My tummy hurts!

I puked on the rug in my room - but my mom didn't get too mad this time, since it wasn't on the carpet. I was hoping she would stay home with me today and take care of me - but no, she had to go to work! I cried and cried and tried to be pretty pathetic - it worked a little. She did sit and hold me for an hour and rub my belly.

Yuck!

Tonight for dinner my mom gave me something different -- but not from the new bag she bought yesterday. It was in a little plastic tub and she peeled back the lid and put it on my tray. It's wet! The package had a little picture of a fishy with some carrots and peas - I don't like that! I know my mom doesn't like fishies either - so I am not sure why she is trying to make me eat them for dinner. She told me I had to try it - but it stinks! I am not going to eat it. Maybe if I cry and cry when she tries to go to bed I will get some of the good stuff I like out of the bag.

Rain... Again!

Well, I decided to brave the outdoors this afternoon for a stroll around the yard -- I had a little run in with a mockingbird yesterday -- he was picking on me and I didn't like it very much. Anyway, I decided to be brave and go out to see what going on. My mom was in the house cooking dinner and not paying attention (as usual) and it started to rain really hard! Of course I got wet! She finally came out to find me - I was taking cover under the car but I decided to make a run for the door and see what was she was fixing for dinner, but of course as usual I didn't get any of her special dinner - just the same old cat food was in my bowl. She brought home a new bag of food today - something different I haven't had before. If she doesn't open it for me tonight maybe tomorrow while she is at work I can open it myself. I have been sharpening my claws on the tree a lot lately - I think I can do it!

Mouse!

I caught a mouse! A real live mouse, or at least it was a real live mouse. I had to protect my property. It was thinking about coming into my yard. I had to stand at the fence and watch it for a long time, but then I jumped through the fence into the pasture and I got him! My mom was watching me - I have a witness. Of course, she didn't take a picture - she thought it was too gross. But she was pretty proud of me. She even called my Aunt Marsha to brag about me.

Where's the Beef?

These are a couple of my cow friends. They live in my backyard. There is too many to get together in one picture. One of them is about to have a baby cow -- I can't wait to get a new friend closer to my size!

No More Swimming!

My mom has spent every night for the last week watching the Olympics... Swimming -- I don't like water! I miss the Food Network! That's what she usually watches and sometimes she leaves it on for me when she leaves. Oh, and we haven't been watching Sex and The City before we go to bed at night! It's just not fair. I am missing out on my food and fashion updates!

It's not my fault!

My mom mowed the grass last night and now all the little clippings are sticking to my feet and tail when I go outside. I get in trouble when I come in the house for dragging in the grass -- it's not my fault!

Finally, no more Polka Dots!

My mom finally got rid of the polka dots... they just weren't very "Beefy". Hope you like the new design. I am going for a more mature, sophisticated look for my page... something more Angus.

My mom tricked me! I should have known something was up -- she came home from work early and was cleaning the house. I hate it when she vacuums the floor - that machine hurts my ears! She did this because my Aunt Marsha and Aunt Cathy came over to our house. She knows I don't like company - I had to hide under the bed for over an hour. Of course they kept begging me to come out and play... but I didn't.
